T's Corner
I know I haven't updated my spot in a while, but we just finished all of our tests in school (yes!!). I got 100% on my social studies, science, and state tests! Also, I have a 99 in science for my overall grade. Anyways, I have reciently traveled a few places: San Francisco, Temecula, and Laughlin. I went to San Francisco with my girl scout troop. We "bridged" to cadets by walking across the golden gate bridge (that was a long walk). We also saw Buden Bakery, Pier 39, the Aquarium of the Bay, Taylor Street, and the Exploritorium. My troop stayed at the hostel in Fort Mason. It was like a cabin with bunks attached to a building. There was only one bathroom, but the food wasn't that bad and there was a big area to relax that had couches. The plane ride there was awesome! We rode on Virgin America. In front of every person is a touch screen. You can use it to text other people on the plane, watch TV, play video games, or listen to music... and it was all free! When I went to Temecula, it was for a soccer tournement. It was super hot, and we had to figure out how to play with the wind, but we ended up getting a 3rd place medal. My family stayed at my Uncle's house because he only lives 5 minutes away from the fields. The food was great, and there house has a pool! It was so nice to cool off in the pool. Laughlin was pretty cool also! It was our first trip out there for the year. It was a little bit hard for me because we left the day after I got my braces, but it was fun. On the lake, I got up and stayed up on my water skiis. That was exciting! One night, there was a lighting storm. There scary when you're out on the lake, but in turns into a beautiful show when you are inside. Thats all for now. I will write again, but sooner this time!
